TJAV Autoposter Privacy Policy
Last updated September 4, 2026
This page describes the privacy practices of TJAV Autoposter ("the App"), a personal, single-user automation tool operated by Thomas, operator of TJAV LLC ("I", "me", "my"). It is not a commercial service and is not offered to, or usable by, any other person. The App exists solely to let me publish my own video content to my own TikTok account. If you are a platform reviewer evaluating this App: the only user is the operator named above, using their own account and their own content.
What the App does
The App detects a video file that I place in my own private cloud storage, lets me enter a caption and publish time through a private form, and then publishes that video to my own TikTok account using TikTok's official API. No content belonging to any other person is processed.
Information the App accesses
The App accesses only what is required to publish my own content: access tokens issued by TikTok when I authorize the App to publish to my own account; the video files and metadata I enter (caption, publish date) for the posts I choose to publish; and basic account identifiers for my own connected account, as returned by TikTok's API, used only to direct a post to the correct account. The App does not access, collect, store, or process personal data belonging to any other user, viewer, follower, or third party. It does not collect analytics on other people, and it does not read comments, messages, or contacts.
How information is used
Accessed information is used for one purpose only: to publish my own videos to my own TikTok account at my direction. Information is never sold, rented, shared, transferred, or disclosed to any third party, and is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the publishing function described above.
How information is stored and protected
The App runs on hardware I control on my own private network — there is no public multi-user server. Access tokens are stored in the App's encrypted credential store and are used only to call TikTok's official API. No other person has access to the App or its stored credentials. Data is retained only as long as needed to operate the App and is deleted when no longer needed.
Data retention and deletion
Access tokens are retained only while I keep my account connected. When I disconnect the account or revoke access, the corresponding tokens are deleted from the App. Video files and post metadata are removed from the App's working storage after a post is published. I can revoke the App's access at any time from within TikTok's own app management settings, which immediately ends the App's access.
Third-party platform
The App interacts with TikTok through its official API. My use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok's own terms and privacy policy (tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy). The App uses information received from the TikTok API only to provide the publishing function described in this policy, consistent with TikTok's Developer Terms and platform policies.
Children's privacy
The App is a personal tool used only by its operator, an adult. It is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect any information from, children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
